The Storage Type Selection screen¶
The screen is displayed after selecting a storage category and is designed for choosing the type of storage to be created or connected.
Top of the screen¶
- Header: "Storage Type"
- "Back" button — returns to the previous step.
Main part of the screen¶
A list of available storage types with radio buttons is displayed.
The list of types depends on the category selected in the previous step Storage Category.
If the type is premium and has not been purchased, a "Premium functionality" icon is displayed next to its name.
Category "Encrypted"¶
(when creating new container):
- VeraCrypt — transition to the Path Selection for VeraCrypt Container File screen;
- LUKS v1 — transition to the Path Selection for Container File screen;
- LUKS v2 — transition to the Path Selection for Container File screen;
- EncFS — transition to the Path Selection for Container File screen;
- CryFS — transition to the Path Selection for Container File screen;
- GoCryptFS — transition to the Path Selection for Container File screen;
(when adding existing container):
- VeraCrypt — transition to the Path Selection for VeraCrypt Container File screen;
- LUKS — transition to the Path Selection for Container File screen;
- BitLocker — transition to the Path Selection for Container File screen;
- EncFS — transition to the Path Selection for Container File screen;
- CryFS — transition to the Path Selection for Container File screen;
- GoCryptFS — transition to the Path Selection for Container File screen;
Category "Network storages"¶
- LAN/SMB

When selecting any type — transition to the Path Selection for Network Storage screen.
Category "Cloud" and "Encrypted cloud storages"¶
When selecting type:
- Google Drive
- OneDrive
- Yandex Disk
- Dropbox
- PCloud
- Mega
- Box Drive
transition to the Cloud Storage Authorization screen.
When selecting type:
- WebDAV / ownCloud / Nextcloud
- S3
When selecting any type — transition to the Path Selection for Network Storage screen.
Category "Disk image"¶
- VHD — transition to the Path Selection for Container File screen.
File encryption helper in existing cloud storage¶
- EncFS
- CryFS
- GoCryptFS
When selecting any type — transition to the Path Selection for Container File screen.
Bottom of the screen¶
- OK — confirms type selection and performs the corresponding action;
- Cancel — cancels the process and returns to the Storage Manager screen.
