How to turn on encrypted messages on Android?

To enable encrypted messages on Android, use the default messaging app or a special secure messaging app. To get full encryption and more opportunities, download EDS app / install EDS app from Google Play and use virtual disk encryption with increased security and various data formats.

EDS provides a dedicated focus on supplementary encryption, especially for handling sensitive data, ensuring its protection even when the device is in an unlocked state. This functionality acts as a barrier against potential threats from unsafe applications. Additionally, external memory card encryption is worth noting: you have the flexibility to use an external memory card on both the Android device and PC. You can encrypt the entire memory card using EDS and subsequently use VeraCrypt/TrueCrypt/LUKS for accessing it on a PC.
