The Create New Object Screen

The screen is designed to create various types of objects in the current folder.

Upper Part of the Screen

  • header: "Select the type of new object".

Central Part of the Screen contains a list of available options:

  • Create Folder — when selected, a text field appears for entering the folder name; after confirmation by pressing the OK button, the folder will be created;
  • Create File — when selected, a text field appears for entering the file name; after confirmation by pressing the OK button, the file will be created;
  • Create Forms Folder — when selected, a text field appears for entering the forms folder name; after confirmation by pressing the OK button, the forms folder will be created;
  • Create Container — when selected, a text field appears for entering the container name; after confirmation by pressing the OK button, the Wizard for creating new container is launched;
  • Create Photo or Video — when selected and confirmed by pressing the OK button, a dialog opens with the choice: take a photo or video.
    After selection, the camera launches in the corresponding mode, and the captured material is saved to the current folder.

Lower Part of the Screen

  • Cancel and OK buttons — allow canceling the operation or confirming the selected action.

Note

For some storage types, duplicate files or folders are not supported.
If an object with such a name already exists, an error message will be displayed asking to specify another name.
