The Auto-encryption of Folder Screen

The screen is designed to configure automatic encryption of the selected source folder contents.
The function implements a two-way synchronization mechanism between regular (unencrypted) and protected (encrypted) directories.

When the function is enabled, all new or modified files from the specified source folder are automatically copied to the current folder of the encrypted storage. With the deletion option enabled — originals are removed after successful copying.

In the reverse direction, synchronization works as follows: with auto-encryption enabled and the presence of previously synchronized files, any changes or deletions within the protected folder will be mirrored in the source folder upon the next synchronization launch.

Available Parameters

  • Source Folder Path
Selection of the directory whose contents are subject to auto-encryption.
The path can be specified manually or selected through the file manager.
The text field is marked in red if the specified path does not exist.

  • Delete Source Files
If enabled, after successful copying, files from the source folder are automatically deleted.
The option is available only after setting the path.

  • Enabled
Toggle switch for activating the auto-encryption function.
Available only after setting the path to the source folder.
The target directory for encryption is the current folder in the encrypted storage (the one from which the menu was called).
In one container, several such synchronized pairs can be configured, each with individual paths and parameters.

Additionally

  • "Reset" Button
Resets all auto-encryption parameters to default values.
