The Select Unlock Parameters for Encrypted VeraCrypt Storage screen

This screen is designed for entering password, key files, and PIM to open VeraCrypt storage.
The password can be entered for both external and hidden VeraCrypt containers.


Upper part of the screen

  • Header: "Storage Password"
  • "Back" button — returns to the previous step.

Main part of the screen

  • "Password" field — designed for entering the password.
  • To the right of the field, an "eye" icon is displayed, allowing you to show or hide the entered text.
    By default, characters are hidden (displayed as asterisks).

  • "Advanced" group:

  • When clicked, additional parameters are revealed:
    • Key Files — option to use key files. When activated, the Key Files Input Dialog opens.
    • PIM — option to use PIM. When activated, the PIM Input Dialog opens.
    • Protect hidden volume against damage caused by writing to outer volume -enabling this option prompts the user to provide protection parameters for the hidden volume (if one exists). Once enabled, fields for entering the hidden volume’s password, PIM, and key files will appear.

Lower part of the screen

  • "Cancel" button — cancels storage creation and returns to the Storage Manager screen.
  • "Ok" button:
  • When entered correctly, transitions to the File Manager screen.
