The Select Unlock Parameters for VeraCrypt Encrypted Storage screen¶
The screen is designed to input password, key files, and PIM that will be used to protect VeraCrypt storage.
Used for both external and hidden VeraCrypt containers.
Upper part of the screen¶
- Header: "Storage Password"
- "Back" button — returns to the previous step.
Main part of the screen¶
- "Password" field — intended for password input.

"Repeat Password" field — intended for password re-entry.

To the right of both fields, an "eye" icon is displayed, allowing to show or hide the entered text.
By default, characters are hidden (displayed as asterisks). -
If the values in the two fields do not match:

An error message appears below the field: "Passwords do not match".

"Advanced" group:
- When pressed, additional parameters are revealed:
- Key Files — option to use key files, when activated opens Key Files Input Dialog.
- PIM — option to use PIM, when activated opens PIM Input Dialog.
- These parameters are used in addition to the password.

Lower part of the screen¶
- "Cancel" button — cancels storage creation and returns to the Storage Manager screen.
- "Ok" button:
- Unavailable if passwords are not entered or do not match.
- Shows an error if passwords for external and hidden containers match.
- Upon correct input, proceeds to the Encrypted Storage Configuration screen.
