The Storage Category screen¶
The screen is designed for selecting the category of the storage to be created.
Interface¶
- Top of the screen:
- Header "Storage Category";

"Back" button — returns to the Storage Manager screen.

Central part of the screen: A list of available categories is displayed. Each category is accompanied by a radio button. After selecting a category and pressing the OK button, the corresponding action is performed:
Group: "Please select storage category"¶
- Encrypted — transition to the Dialog for choosing between creating and using existing encrypted storage dialog;
- Network — transition to the Storage Type Selection screen;
- Cloud — transition to the Storage Type Selection screen;
- Disk image — transition to the Storage Type Selection screen;
- Local — opens the folder selection screen from the device's internal storage through the system application. After selecting a folder — transition to the Network Storage Configuration screen.
Group: "File encryption helper"¶
- Encrypt local files — launches the storage creation wizard, where you can create storage using a simplified scheme with automatic path substitution and default values, oriented towards beginners. Transition to the Dialog for choosing between creating and using existing encrypted storage dialog;
- Create encrypted cloud storage —
- if cloud storages exist — displays the Dialog for choosing between creating and using existing cloud storage;
- if not — transition to the Storage Type Selection screen.
Control buttons (at the bottom of the screen)¶
- OK — confirms category selection and performs the corresponding action;
- Cancel — cancels creation and returns to the Storage Manager screen.
